Bonaventure elected new UTSA president

Kota Kinabalu: Bonaventure Boniface has been elected the new President of the United Taekwondo Association of Sabah (UTSA), pledging to strengthen the sport's development through five key initiatives.

Speaking after receiving the mandate at the association's annual general meeting and leadership election, he thanked members and delegates for their confidence and paid tribute to the previous leadership for laying a strong foundation for taekwondo in Sabah.

Bonaventure also thanked Taekwondo Malaysia Technical Chief Grand Master Dhanaraj Rassiah for attending the meeting, describing his presence as a reflection of the close ties between the national body and Sabah.

He outlined five priorities for the new administration: digitalising the association's governance, improving training facilities, strengthening integrity and professional governance, developing quality athletes and enhancing communication between the association and affiliated clubs.
