Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor accompanied Head of State Tun Musa Aman during an audience with the Sultan of Brunei Darussalam, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, at Istana Nurul Iman, Bandar Seri Begawan, Wednesday.
Also present were the Chief Minister’s wife Datin Seri Juliah Salag, as well as State Secretary Datuk Zainudin Aman and his wife Datin Siti Yuslaini Mohd Samsuri.

Earlier in the morning, Hajiji and his wife were among distinguished guests who attended the Barisan Kehormatan ceremony commemorating Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah’s 80th birthday at Taman Haji Sir Muda Omar ‘Ali, before attending the Investiture Ceremony at Istana Nurul Iman, where state honours of Brunei Darussalam were conferred.
During the official visit, Hajiji is also scheduled to attend several other ceremonial events held in conjunction with the celebrations, including the State Banquet in honour of the Sultan of Brunei’s 80th birthday on Thursday evening.
The Chief Minister and his wife arrived in Brunei on Tuesday to represent the Sabah Government at the official celebrations, reflecting the close ties and long-standing friendship between Sabah and Brunei.
