Magistrate Dayang Aidaku Amira Aminuddin granted the remand order Wednesday following ao application by the investigating officer, Inspector Nurul Amira Razali, who had initially sought a four-day remand.
The Form One and Form Two students are being investigated under Section 148 of the Penal Code for rioting with weapons.
According to the facts of the case, the video showed a group of students fighting with a member of the public, who allegedly used a motorcycle helmet as a weapon.
The incident took place on the evening of July 10 at a shoplot in Jalan Apas.
Police confirmed that no injuries were reported as members of the public at the scene managed to break up the fight.
However, subsequent police checks on Facebook, TikTok and Instagram did not find any trace of the alleged AI-generated content.
