Kota Kinabalu: A 31-year-old woman was fined RM1,200, or one month’s imprisonment in default, by the Magistrate’s Court here after pleading guilty to engaging in online gambling activities at a public place.

Checks revealed that Melia was carrying out online gambling top-up transactions. Several items linked to the activity were seized during the operation.
