PENAMPANG: A 34-year-old local woman was arrested by the Sabah Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (JSJN) after police allegedly found ecstasy powder and ketamine in her possession during an operation in Beverly Hills here on Tuesday night.
The unemployed suspect was detained at about 10.30pm near a staircase beside a restaurant following intelligence on suspected drug trafficking activities.

Police allegedly seized two plastic packets containing 33.6 grammes of suspected ecstasy powder and a transparent packet containing 2.2 grammes of suspected ketamine, with an estimated street value of RM1,800.
A preliminary urine screening also found the suspect tested positive for ketamine, while a subsequent search of her residence in Taman D'PR Kasigom did not uncover any additional incriminating items.
The case is being investigated under Sections 39A(2), 12(2) and 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
