PETALING JAYA: First City University College proudly celebrated its Graduation Ceremony 2026 today at One World Hotel, Bandar Utama, honouring the achievements of the Graduating Class of 2026. The ceremony marked the successful culmination of years of dedication, perseverance and hard work, as graduates celebrated this significant milestone surrounded by their families, friends and the University community.
For First City University College, witnessing its graduates cross the stage is one of the University's proudest moments, celebrating their achievements and the dedication, resilience and determination that have brought them to this milestone. Their success reflects the University's commitment to developing graduates who are prepared to lead, innovate and make meaningful contributions in an ever-evolving world.
The graduating class represented the Faculty of Business and Communication, Faculty of Design and Built Environment, and Faculty of Computer Science and Technology, graduating with qualifications ranging from Diploma to Master's level in disciplines including Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Mass Communication, Interior Architecture and Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Marketing, Information Technology, Software Engineering and Business Management.
The ceremony was graced by Datuk Yaacob Bin Wan Ibrahim, Chancellor of First City University College; YBhg Tan Sri Dato' Ir. (Dr.) Teo Chiang Kok, Chairman of the Board of Governors; YBhg Tan Sri Dato' (Dr.) Teo Chiang Liang, Director and Board Member; Professor Dr. Saw Sor Heoh, Vice-Chancellor; Professor Dr. Hing Hiang Lian, Deputy Vice-Chancellor; together with Members of the Board of Governors, academic staff, industry partners, graduates and their families.Congratulating the graduates, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Saw Sor Heoh said:

A highlight of the ceremony was the presentation of eight Industry Excellence Awards, generously sponsored by Zchwantech Sdn. Bhd., recognising outstanding graduates from various academic programmes for their exceptional academic achievement, professional excellence and outstanding potential. The awards reflect the University's strong partnership with industry in recognising excellence and preparing graduates for success in an increasingly dynamic professional landscape.
As the newest members of the First City University College alumni community, the Class of 2026 leaves with more than academic qualifications.
