KUDAT: Police arrested six suspects, including a woman, believed involved in drug trafficking and seized 161 grammes of syabu along with other items worth an estimated RM16,000 during a series of raids around Kudat on Monday.
Kudat Police Chief Supt Mohd Haris Ibrahim said the operation was conducted by officers and personnel from the Sabah Police Contingent Headquarters (IPK) between 7pm and 4.45am.

The raids were carried out at several locations, including Kampung Tanjong Kapor, Landung Ayang, Perpaduan, PPR Taman Ehsan and Kampung Muhibbah.
Mohd Haris said all suspects and the seized items were taken to the Kudat District Police Headquarters for further investigation.
He added that the suspects would be remanded to assist investigations under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
Mohd Haris also urged the public to continue cooperating with police by providing information to help curb drug abuse and trafficking.
He said community cooperation was vital in combating drug-related crimes and ensuring public safety.
