Kota Kinabalu: JSK Group has officially launched Taman Universiti Utama (TUU), a 33-unit landed residential development in Telipok, with the project unveiled by Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif during the Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Shareda) PropEX 2026 recently.
JSK Group Managing Director Datuk Johnny Wong Chen Yee said TUU is a low-density development comprising modern two-storey terrace houses on the final three-acre parcel within Taman Perdana, which has an established residential track record and is located beside the company's Universiti Utama Condominium development.

He said the project is designed to meet demand from owner-occupiers and investors, with each unit featuring three bedrooms with attached bathrooms, separate dry and wet kitchens, and layouts tailored to current market preferences.
Johnny said the development is situated within a mature township with more than 200 occupied shoplots, restaurants, healthcare facilities and schools nearby, while construction is already more than 15 per cent complete and remains on track for completion by May 2028.
He said JSK Group delayed the sales launch despite obtaining its Advertising Permit and Developer's Licence about three months ago to allow foundation works to progress, adding that long-held land ownership has enabled the company to keep prices competitive despite rising construction and land costs.
