SEMPORNA: Police arrested two men following separate operations at Kampung Bubul Lama and Kampung Batu, here, on Saturday.
District Police Chief, Superintendent Tan Hiap Wah said in the first operation carried out by the Narcotic Crime Investigation Division at Kampung Bubul Lama, the team arrested a 45-years-old local man.

The suspect was detained from an unnumbered house at about 10.30am after the Police found translucent plastic containing Syabu weighing 0.15 grams in his possession.
“In the second operation at Kampung Batu at 11.30am, the team arrested a 40-year-old foreigner and seized 0.13 grams of Syabu.
“Both suspects were detained for investigation under Section 12(3) of the Dangerous Drug Act 1952,” he said.
Tan in a statement stressed that Police will further intensify operations to curb drug abuse and drug trafficking activities in this district.
