PENAMPANG: Police crippled two suspected drug trafficking operations with the arrest of three men and the seizure of more than 165g of suspected ecstasy powder in two separate raids here on Wednesday.
Acting District Police Chief ASP Arisanti Aziz said the first raid at about 2pm in Beverly Hills, Jalan Bundusan, led to the arrest of a 28-year-old foreign man and the seizure of 83.83g of suspected ecstasy powder and 1.42g of ketamine.

She said a follow-up raid at about 3.40pm at a condominium in Penampang resulted in the arrest of two local men, both aged 22, and the seizure of a further 81.39g of suspected ecstasy powder and 1.75g of ketamine.
"Overall, police seized 165.22g of suspected ecstasy powder and 3.17g of ketamine, besides confiscating several vehicles and mobile phones believed to be linked to drug trafficking activities," she said in a statement on Friday.
The case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952, while Arisanti urged the public to stay away from drugs and to report any information on drug-related activities or crime to the police.
