KUANTAN: A video of a woman kicking stray cats at the Risda Keratong rest area in Bandar Tun Abdul Razak, Pahang, has sparked outrage on social media.
The incident, shared by a
Threads user, allegedly occurred after the woman confronted four teenagers who were feeding stray cats, asking why they were spending money on them.
Despite a bystander asking her to let the teenagers continue feeding the hungry cats, the woman allegedly kicked several of them, with a white cat seen being sent flying in the video.
The woman also scolded the teenagers and made confusing remarks, leaving the bystander believing she was not acting rationally.
One of the teenagers also shared her account on
Threads under the username @syirahmm, saying she checked on the cats after the incident and confirmed they were unharmed before leaving for Johor.
The video has since drawn widespread criticism online, with many urging the authorities to investigate the incident.
