KUDAT: A man's body, whose identity has yet to be established, was found washed ashore at Kampung Damaran Beach on Pulau Banggi, Kudat, on Wednesday, days after another unidentified body was discovered near the Angkasa Baru fish jetty.
Kudat police chief Supt Mohd Haris Ibrahim said police received a report from a member of the public at 11.30am, before personnel from the Karakit Police Station were deployed to the scene to conduct investigations.

He said preliminary investigations found the body to be that of an adult male, but no identification documents or personal belongings were found that could assist in establishing the deceased's identity.
Mohd Haris said the body was taken to Kudat Hospital for further action, and the case has been classified as a sudden death report.
He appealed to anyone with information on the deceased's identity or the disappearance of a family member to contact Karakit police chief ASP Mohd Yassin Sagap at 013-5545531 or visit the nearest police station.
