The 2026 D-MAX also introduces an 8-speed automatic gearbox with sequential shift across the range, including the Single Cab variant, making it the first pick-up truck in Malaysia to offer an automatic transmission in that body style.
“This graduation ceremony does not merely mark the end of an academic journey. It is a recognition of the hard work, discipline and sacrifices made by our students throughout their Form Six studies,” Ceasar said in his speech.

Three students achieved a perfect CGPA of 4.00: Jessiey Marcilla Johnny, Saidatul Farhanah Nazeerah Mohd Ardi and Violenn Stephen Takom.

Another 22 students obtained CGPAs between 3.50 and 3.99, while 35 students recorded CGPAs ranging from 3.00 to 3.49. Two students also attained Band 5 in the Malaysian University English Test (MUET).

In her address, Jennifer, who received the Anugerah Tokoh Pendidikan Wanita Madani 2025, said the school’s average CGPA rose to 3.01 from 2.73 the previous year, an increase of 0.28.

“This achievement would not have been possible without the dedication of our teachers and the unwavering support of parents and the Parent-Teacher Association (PIBG),” she said.

Jennifer said the school remains committed to providing high-quality learning opportunities while nurturing students with strong values, integrity and the skills needed to succeed in higher education and future careers.

She also stressed the importance of close collaboration between educators, parents and the wider community in creating a supportive learning environment, in line with the school’s motto, “Together Towards Success” with Respect, Trust and Unity.

Jennifer expressed hope that SMK Limbanak’s Form Six programme would continue to sustain its academic excellence and produce capable, patriotic graduates who will contribute to the nation’s development.

Ceasar reaffirmed the Sabah Government’s commitment to human capital development, saying every Sabahan child should have equal access to higher education and opportunities for a better future.

He said the state government continues to strengthen education through initiatives and financial assistance programmes, including BUDI, BAIK, BAKTI, SUBFLY, SENTOSA and various scholarship schemes.

“Through the Sabah Teacher and Parent Activity Assistance Scheme (BAGUS), a total of 1,457 PIBGs across Sabah received RM2,000 each in 2025, amounting to RM2.914 million,” he said.

During the ceremony, Ceasar also presented special incentive awards to high-achieving students from the Penampang district to recognise their accomplishments and encourage them to continue excelling in their studies.

He congratulated the graduates, their families, teachers and the entire SMK Limbanak community on the school’s historic achievement.
