JAKARTA: Indonesian singer and actress Krisdayanti won a gold medal at the National Wushu Kungfu Championship 2026 at the age of 51, according to the New Straits Times.
She claimed the Women's Group E Shanzi (folding fan) title at the championship held in Tangerang, Banten, from July 22 to 26.
Krisdayanti impressed judges with a precise and energetic folding fan routine performed in a black martial arts outfit.
In an Instagram post, she said the competition was not only about winning medals but also inspiring and nurturing future Indonesian athletes through discipline, sportsmanship and excellence.
The victory follows her silver medal at the 10th World Kungfu Championship in Emeishan, China, last year.
