Kota Kinabalu: VTS Group has launched Phase 2 of its Rimbayu Residency landed housing development, introducing 85 units of double-storey terrace houses designed to combine modern architecture with practical living.
The latest phase forms part of the larger Rimbayu Residency master plan, comprising 416 double-storey terrace houses to be developed over three phases.
Phase 1 consists of 158 units, Phase 2 comprises 85 units and Phase 3 will add another 173 units.

The development will also feature 29 retail lots and two purpose-built childcare centres.

The residences also feature front and rear porches enclosed by five- to six-foot feature brick walls to provide greater privacy while allowing homeowners to extend their living spaces for leisure and outdoor activities.

Located along Jalan Tuaran Bypass, about 15km from Kota Kinabalu city centre, Rimbayu Residency is situated within a well-established residential and commercial corridor.
The development enjoys easy access via Jalan Tuaran Bypass, Jalan UMS and Jalan Pintas UA1.
It is also located near Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Institut Sinaran, University Apartment 1, 1Borneo Hypermall, Mini Putrajaya, Elemen Utara, KK and Taman Wijaya Park.
VTS Group said the homes are designed with open-plan layouts to maximise space, creating a seamless flow between living areas while providing a comfortable and contemporary environment.
The project is targeted at a broad market, including young professionals seeking a modern, low-maintenance lifestyle, retirees looking for a comfortable home, and investors seeking rental opportunities.
Complementing the residential component is Rimbayu Plaza, a mixed-use commercial development within the township.
Construction of the plaza is underway and is expected to be completed in 2027.
Rimbayu Plaza will house retail outlets and multifunctional commercial spaces intended to serve residents and the surrounding community.
The commercial component is expected to accommodate businesses such as education and enrichment centres, beauty and wellness outlets, cafés, grocery stores and other convenience-based services.
