Kota Kinabalu: A viral video showing a man holding what appears to be parangs wandering in the middle of a road in Likas, here, has worried netizens.
The video on Facebook shows the topless man swinging the machetes while weaving through busy traffic near Plaza Juta.
At the beginning of the video, someone is seen running across the street, while the man is also seen changing his path and follows in same direction to cross the road.
The camera then turns to show a group of approximately three people near a building on the opposite side of the road.
The man then stops at a traffic island for a while before returning to the roadside.
“There are usually students from nearby schools using that street. Please be careful,” said one Facebook user, Shanie Bex.
Many said they are waiting for the district police’s response.
