Kota Kinabalu: Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) information chief Datuk Joniston Bangkuai expressed optimism about continued collaboration between GRS and Sabah Pakatan Harapan (PH) in governing the State, highlighting significant progress over the past two years.

He noted the synergy between the coalitions had boosted Sabah’s economy, pointing to the State’s record RM6.45 billion budget for 2025 and an anticipated RM7 billion revenue.

Joniston also congratulated Upko President Datuk Ewon Benedick on his election as Sabah PH chairman, emphasising its potential to strengthen the state government further.

Addressing concerns over the coalitions' local and national affiliations, he reassured that these differences do not hinder their shared goal of advancing Sabah’s interests.
