Kuala Lumpur: A doctor at a clinic here has recounted an incident involving a patient who allegedly attempted to pay for medical treatment with "blessings" instead of money.

Threads, Dr Jay (@drjaytoor) said the patient, who sought treatment for fever-like symptoms and was wearing what he described as "strange accessories", claimed to be "spiritually gifted" and to possess a "third eye".
He said the patient chose the most comprehensive treatment option, but, after being told it would cost more, allegedly said he would not pay with money and instead offered "blessings", placing an animal's head on the doctor's desk as payment.
The doctor said he refused to provide treatment and asked the man to leave the clinic, after which the patient allegedly shouted threats, claiming the business would fail, no more patients would visit, and that he would send jinn after him.
He said the man also allegedly recited something, blew into his face and said he would die that night before eventually leaving the premises.
"With 'magic people', never show fear when they threaten you. The moment you don't show fear, they have no power over you. They thrive on fear and uncertainty," he told World of Buzz, reflecting on the incident.
"You have your God, stick to Him. He's already doing a good job of guiding you every single day," he said.
