Kota Kinabalu: A Sports Toto outlet in Lido suffered damages when a Proton Saga crashed into its shutters, here, early Sunday.
The incident, which occurred about 1.25am, was captured by the premises’ closed-circuit television system.
The footage shows a woman entering the vehicle moments before it unexpectedly lurched forward, mounting the walkway and colliding with the outlet’s roller shutter.
A man was then seen entering the car before reversing the vehicle and driving off.
The impact of the crash caused damage to both the roller shutter and the outlet’s glass panels.
The operator of the Sports Toto outlet has since filed a police report and notified their insurance agent regarding the incident.
The operator said this is the second time the outlet had experienced damage due to external factors.
The first incident involved an altercation, believed to have been between patrons from an entertainment establishment located directly above the Sports Toto premises.
