JKNS completes probe into misconduct allegations
Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah State Health Department (JKNS) said an investigation into allegations of sexual assault and workplace bullying involving a hospital director in the State has been completed.

JKNS, in a statement on Thursday, said the investigation was conducted by a special committee appointed by the Ministry of Health and that follow-up action based on its recommendations is being implemented in accordance with existing procedures and laws.

The department said it views the allegations seriously and does not tolerate any form of misconduct, particularly sexual assault, harassment and workplace bullying, which are contrary to the values of integrity and public service ethics.

JKNS said it remains committed to ensuring a safe, respectful and conducive working environment while strengthening efforts to safeguard organisational integrity and staff welfare.
