Kota Kinabalu: Finance Minister Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun on Monday tabled the Supplementary Supply Bill 2026 seeking an additional RM1.6126 billion to meet the State Government's operational and administrative requirements until the end of the year.
Masidi said the supplementary allocation covered 53 expenditure heads, with RM856 million earmarked for statutory funds, RM278 million for operational expenditure, RM210 million for investments, RM162 million for administration, RM93 million for domestic grants and RM13 million for special allocations.

He said the additional funding would support road and bridge maintenance, water supply and sewerage services, disaster repairs, scholarships, education assistance, welfare programmes, flood mitigation and grants to local authorities and State agencies.
Masidi also proposed an additional RM435.54 million in development expenditure involving 35 expenditure heads under nine ministries, with RM216.34 million financed by the State and RM219.2 million through Federal loans.
Among the major development allocations are projects for water supply and sewerage, rural infrastructure, small development projects, housing, sports facilities, public amenities and other priority infrastructure to support Sabah's continued development.
