Kota Kinabalu: Chester Pang Thien Fook has been elected Chairman of the Sabah Creative Associations Federation (Kreatif Sabah) for the 2026–2028 term during the organisation’s first annual general meeting in Inanam.
Chester, who is also President of the Sabah Film and Visual Association (Safva), said the federation would unite creative associations in Sabah and serve as a platform to strengthen the State’s creative industry.

Kreatif Sabah, which received registration approval from the Registrar of Societies on April 28, 2026, comprises eight associations representing film, music, performing arts and visual arts sectors.
The new leadership line-up includes Guadik Ansiw as Deputy Chairman, Mohd Nazri Saidali as Secretary, Raimon Sukudat as Treasurer, with Abdul Mazrun Munap, Chester D. Sinidol and Ramli Ahmad as Exco members.
Chester said Kreatif Sabah would focus on strengthening its organisation, expanding strategic partnerships and working with relevant agencies to support the growth of Sabah’s creativeeconomy.
