Kota Kinabalu: A 42-year-old man was charged with cheating a woman of RM1,500 over a rented house service.
Redzuan Sulaiman, who has five other pending cases at different Sessions Courts, was brought before Sessions Court Judge Marlina Ismail.

He initially pleaded guilty to the charge, but the court rejected the plea after he disputed parts of the documents related to the case, including an agreement which he claimed was not prepared by him.
Redzuan is accused of deceiving the 31-year-old woman into believing he could provide a rental house service at University Utama Condominium, Telipok Phase 2, before she handed him RM1,500.
The offence allegedly took place at about 3.20pm on June 14 this year at KK Plaza, here, and is punishable under Section 420 of the Penal Code with imprisonment of between one and 10 years, whipping and a fine upon conviction.
