Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Young Business and Industry Leaders (Sybil), in collaboration with the Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) Sabah, will host CEO Masterclass 2026 at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) on Aug 24 and 25 under the theme "Beyond Certainty — Leadership in Action".
The organisers said the two-day programme will bring together chief executive officers, business owners, policymakers, government leaders, senior executives, start-up founders, young professionals and emerging leaders to discuss leadership in an increasingly uncertain global landscape.
They said the programme is designed to equip participants with practical leadership skills and strategic insights to help organisations navigate rapid technological change, economic volatility and shifting global dynamics while strengthening decision-making under pressure.
The opening day will feature a Leadership Lab with interactive sessions, including Scenario War Room, Pivot Court, AI Boardroom and Fishbowl Sessions, aimed at encouraging critical thinking, cross-industry collaboration and leadership responses to complex, fast-changing situations.
The second day will comprise the CEO Masterclass Conference, featuring keynote addresses, leadership conversations, cross-industry panel discussions, networking opportunities and the return of the Human Library segment, where participants can engage directly with chief executives and founders in small-group discussions.
The organisers said the event is intended to be more than a conventional conference by providing a platform for leadership development, collaboration and exposure to practical perspectives from decision-makers across various sectors.
Registration for CEO Masterclass 2026 is now open, including for participants applying through the Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) scheme.
