Kota Kinabalu: About 4,500 people have registered for the JOM! Malaysia-China Friendship Run 2026, with race kit collection scheduled from July 17 to 19 at the Malaysia-China Friendship Association Sabah office in Kolombong.
Organising Committee Chairman Michael Lim said preparations for the event have entered the final stage.

“Those who have successfully registered may collect their race kits this Friday, Saturday and Sunday at our association office,” he said. The 7km run will be flagged off at 6am on July 26 at Padang Merdeka.
Each race kit includes an event T-shirt, an eco-friendly bag, a race bib and discount vouchers from sponsors, including Skechers, Warehaus, V Magic and B Project.
Participants will also stand a chance to win lucky draw prizes worth more than RM43,000.
The association office is located at 4-1, First Floor, Lot 4, Lorong 5, Bunga Raja Shopping Complex, Jalan Bunga Ulam Raja, 88450 Kolombong, Kota Kinabalu.
