KOTA BELUD: A 26-year-old local from Kg Tempasuk 1, here, has been reported missing after losing contact while in Cambodia more than a month ago.
His cousin, Aqidah Marzuki, 33, said Allen had gone to Cambodia in December 2025 without the family’s knowledge and only informed them of his whereabouts after arriving there.

“Since June 10, all efforts to contact him have failed. A police report regarding Allen’s disappearance was lodged at the Kota Belud District Police Headquarters (IPD) on June 20,” she said.
Aqidah said Allen had travelled to Cambodia with a man he had only recently met, who claimed to be an agent recruiting workers for jobs in the country.
“It was only after he arrived in Cambodia that Allen told us the truth about where he was,” she said.
Based on the last location recorded through the “Find My iPhone” application, Allen is believed to have been in the Phsar Kandal area in Poipet, Cambodia.
The family is now appealing to the authorities, the media, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and the public to assist in locating Allen and bringing him home safely.
Members of the public who have any information are urged to contact his family at 014-7819639 or 011-28839042.
