Tenom: The stretch of the Kuala Tomani-Kemabong Road that collapsed following heavy rainfall last Friday has reopened to all road users via a single lane.
Tenom District Officer Alexender Liew said the road was reopened on Sunday afternoon after clean-up and temporary repair works were carried out by the Public Works Department (JKR) Tenom concessionaire.

However, motorists are advised to drive cautiously and comply with instructions from personnel stationed at the site.
The public is also encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and stay alert to current weather conditions, as continued rainfall could increase the risk of further landslides or road damage in the area.
Authorities will continue to monitor the site while permanent repair works are carried out to ensure the safety of road users and restore normal traffic flow.
