Kota Kinabalu: Tabs Bandaraya Kota Kinabalu (TBBKK) will be sending their Under-11 team to compete in the Subway Maxim Cup Football tournament starting today (Saturday) at the Drago Arena in Melaka.
Team Manager Ahmad Saprawan, assisted by Roneld Jim, said at the airport before their departure on Thursday that the team would feature 12 players and two coaches, Mohd Khhairul Hanaffiah Ag Usli and Mohd Hairul Nizam.
According to him, their target is to reach the final and is confident the players will live up to the challenge and try to deliver their best throughout the two-day tournament.
He also expressed his gratitude to TBBKK Chief Executive Officer Mohd Zaim Ansawi for allowing the team to participate in the competition, as well as thanking the sponsors and parents for their support.
The players who made the list are Muhammad Ammar Miqael Herman, Muhammad Aqil Asyraaf Abdul Kabir, Muhammad Iman Uzair Mohd Faried, Muhammad Aniq Fathi Ahmad Saprawan, Carl Raphael Santi Roneld, Rahmat Ramadhan Rahman, Izz Zaidan Daffa Noor Asbi , Muhammad Arif Hakimi Abdullah, Abdul Rahman Mohd Pitra, Muhamad Iyad Syazwi Othman, Muhammad Ashrraf Haiqal Mohd Khairul Hanaffiah and Muhammad Rafie Alilullah Mohd Ramey.
Meanwhile, those present at the airport to send off the team included Dayang Samisah, representing Zaim, head coach Roslan Wasli and several parents.
