According to the facts of the case, Abdul Gamis was suspected of peeping at a woman while she was bathing. Both were staying at the same rented house.
However, there were no witnesses to confirm the alleged peeping incident.
A verbal argument later broke out outside the house between Abdul Gamis and the complainant.
During the altercation, Abdul Gamis went into his room, took a knife and attempted to leave the premises, but was stopped by his mother.
Police investigations found that he did not make any threats or intimidate the complainant during the incident.
