Kota Kinabalu: A young Sabahan selected for Prestigious Leadership Fellowship is in town to inspire the next generation of global leaders.
Kota Kinabalu-born Joey Goh, a governance consultant in a Big 4, has returned home with a renewed commitment to inspire more youths from the state to pursue international leadership opportunities after representing Malaysia in the Young Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI) Professional Fellows Program, one of the United States Government’s flagship leadership exchanges for emerging leaders across Asean.
Earlier, Goh, who is based in Kuala Lumpur, was selected through a highly competitive process involving more than 1,000 applicants from across Malaysia and Asean.
She was the only Sabahan chosen for her fellowship track “Society and Governance”, earning the opportunity to represent both Sabah and Malaysia alongside outstanding young leaders from Southeast Asia.
