Kota Kinabalu: The Malaysian International Humanitarian Organisation (MHO) Sabah is seeking the Government's help to locate and bring home a 26-year-old Sabahan believed to have fallen victim to a job scam syndicate in Cambodia.
Sabah MHO coordinator Capt (R) Jerry Jaimeh said Allen Scott Willfraid from Kota Belud travelled overseas after accepting a job offer and Immigration Department records showed he departed Malaysia through Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Dec 25, 2025.

Allen's family lost contact with him about six to seven weeks ago, while his mother, Jusneh, said the last time she spoke to him on May 31 he only told her that he wanted to return home.
Jerry said the family later received a WhatsApp call from a person claiming Allen had been detained in Cambodia and demanding RM6,000 for his release, but advised against making any payment until the information is verified.
MHO has appealed to the Malaysian Government, diplomatic authorities and Cambodian officials to help trace Allen's whereabouts and facilitate his safe return to Sabah.
