Kota Kinabalu: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim held a meeting with Sabah Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor at his office in Putrajaya, Monday.
During the meeting, they discussed, among other things, current issues and developments in Sabah.

Hajiji also presented the 2024 Sabah Maju Jaya Direction Annual Report to the Prime Minister, which details the achievements of the development initiatives under the Sabah Maju Jaya roadmap from 2021 to the present.
Earlier, Hajiji attended the 146th Meeting of Menteri Besar and Chief Ministers at the Perdana Meeting Room, Prime Minister’s Office, Perdana Putra Building.
He was accompanied by State Secretary Datuk Seri Safar Untong.
During the meeting, Safar delivered a briefing on the Blue Economy.
On Wednesday and Thursday, Hajiji is scheduled to accompany Sabah Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Musa Aman, to attend the 269th Meeting of the Conference of Rulers at Istana Negara.
Meanwhile, Anwar also held a meeting with Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Opening.
Anwar said the meetings with Hajiji and Abang Johari emphasised the importance of close ties and strategic cooperation between the Federal Government and state governments, particularly Sabah and Sarawak.
