Kota Kinabalu: A total of RM108.05 million has been spent on youth development programmes implemented by the State Youth, Sports and Creative Economy Ministry since 2020, the State Legislative Assembly was told on Tuesday.
Assistant Youth, Sports and Creative Economy Minister Datuk Seri Anil Jeet Singh said the allocation was used for various youth development programmes from 2020 until now.

He said the Ministry measures the success of the programmes through business performance, increased sales and higher income among grant recipients.
Anil said other indicators include benefits received by target groups and local communities, employment opportunities created, and the social and economic impact of the programmes or projects.
He said implementation and expenditure reports are also used to improve future policies and programme delivery.
