PENAMPANG: A Proton Iswara was destroyed in a fire at Kampung Tunon here on Sunday afternoon, with no injuries reported.
The Sabah Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 2.22pm and dispatched a fire engine with five personnel from the Penampang Fire and Rescue Station, arriving at the scene at 2.31pm.

The department said the vehicle was already engulfed in flames and was completely destroyed in the incident.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze using a hose reel from the fire engine before bringing the situation under control at 2.47pm.
After confirming there were no further hazards at the scene, the operation was concluded at 2.49pm.
