TAWAU: More than 18 commercial vehicles of various licence classes were inspected during an integrated enforcement operation here on Thursday.
The operation, which began at 9.30am, involved stage buses, Class A public and commercial transport vehicles, Class C private and own-account vehicles, as well as e-hailing vehicles.
The Sabah Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board (LPKP), in a statement, said the operation was carried out with the District Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division (BSPTD) and Tawau National Anti-Drug Agency (AADK).
Inspections focused on vehicle safety features and compliance with licensing conditions, with enforcement officers issuing three notices against operators found to have breached licence requirements, including failure to display mandatory vehicle body markings.
LPKP said integrated enforcement operations with relevant departments and agencies will continue statewide to ensure licence compliance and enhance road safety and the public and goods transport
system.
