Kota Kinabalu: Police have been investigating an allegation of sexual harassment involving a government hospital director in Sabah since January after receiving a report over an incident alleged to have occurred in October last year.
State Police Commissioner Datuk Jauteh Dikun
(pic) said the investigation began before the allegation went viral on social media on Wednesday.
He said the case is being investigated under Section 509 of the Penal Code and that investigations are ongoing.
Jauteh said further developments would be announced once investigations are completed.
He also urged the public not to speculate on the case as it could interfere with the investigation.
