RANAU: A Toyota Revo veered off the road and plunged into a ravine along Jalan Telupid near Kampung Nalapak here on Friday afternoon, but both occupants escaped unhurt.

The Fire and Rescue Department received the emergency call at 1.39pm and deployed seven personnel, with the first fire engine arriving at the scene at 2.12pm after travelling about 20km.

The two occupants managed to get out of the vehicle on their own and were found to have sustained no injuries.

Firefighters inspected the area to ensure there were no further hazards before concluding the operation at 2.33pm, while two police personnel were also at the scene.
